A couple off weeks ago I had the privilege of attending a Wista Sweden meeting as a guest speaker. I talked about this company, the beginning, our mission and how we work. It was such an inspiring experience to bee in a room full off powerful women from the shipping industry, and the response was amazing. 

I talked about how we can change the stereotype of a seafarer through art and culture and how important representation of women from male dominated professions in pop culture is.
It was amazing being able to talk in person in front of this incredible group of women about this and I can’t wait to get out and talk to more people! As the year is coming to an end I as the owner of this business need to look at the past year to plan the future. And as I always say
”The future is equal, it is just a question regarding how fast and smoothly we’ll get there.

After the Wista meeting I am now certain that focusing on getting out there and talking to people in real life is one step in the right direction on getting a smooth ride towards equality. It will be a long road, perhaps a little bumpy sometimes but I am ready for the ride and full off inspiration on ways to get there!
